They make pretty good sammies here, and I like the thin bread option that isn't "lite" and full of low fat chemicals they just use thinner bread which is way better for that perfect meat and topping to bread ratio. I like the Italian.

I see many people are big Potbelly fans. I'm just not sure I get the hype. The menu is fairly limited and the sandwiches are not quite as big as I am used to from similar sandwich joints. Good, fresh food, but it left me still wanting a bit more. Like more selection and more food.

I enjoyed what I ordered but was disappointed in the size of my sub as well as they don't have "fresh" soups. I was hoping for a little more healthy and organic. Overall it was good but not my favorite.

Definitely a-ok. Potbelly is a sub-type sandwich shop, where the sandwiches are all toasted. Like Quizno's, but better. I had "A Wreck" sandwich - turkey, ham, salami, roast beef. I like that you pick your toppings, though the toastiness made the sandwich a bit dry and I regretted not choosing oil and Italian seasoning. Next time I will for sure. It is a little smallish though - filling, and the bread is yummy, but appeared to be one thin slice of each meat and I think I would recommend a sandwich with fewer meats so you get more of each and can taste them more, if that makes sense. I couldn't really decipher individual meats. But no mattter, it's a good sandwich. One of the soups today was loaded baked potato - really, really good and super creamy. I would definitely get that again, maybe with a salad or a smoothie? Lots to try here, and I'll be back.

I'm not always a huge sandwich fan, but this place was very good! It's set up like a standard sandwich shop, but with nice ambiance. I ordered the Italian and added spicy brown mustard and their spicy pepper mix. The bread was toasted perfectly with crispy crust and soft middle. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

That was amazing. I got the pizza sandwich with hot peppers. So good!! Got the big because Im an adult and its only $1 more. And it was great. The sandwich makers name was Larry and he was very polite and he made recommendations and helped out with questions. If I ever drive over here again ill come here.

These places seem to be staples of Midwestern college towns. I miss the unique flavor of those Potbellys, but having one in the Portland area, even minus all of the college garb and the live bands, is well worth it. Same quality flavors as I remember. Lots of great drinks in the cooler to choose from. Awesome milkshakes. And the sandwiches. Hot peppers, please. (You won't be sorry.) Great location, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Had this the first night in Portland. Price was great, 9.50 all together. food was wonderful, Great place to "people watch" as well. I had the sandwich called "A wreck" and my partner got the roast beef. We both got a cup of cheddar and broccoli soup. The soup was amazing! The staff was also very nice.
(5)
Roman S.
$5 bucks or so gets you a sandwich that is delicious. as people mention it's small. maybe comparable to a 6" at subway. however, it's good and toasty. for fast food it's fairly affordable and has a nice premium taste.

Great to know that no matter what state, potbelly still tastes just as good! This was my first time at a potbelly's in Oregon and I got the grilled chicken and cheddar sandwich (per usual) and strawberry shake; it was delicious as expected! The service was good and not having a line when we went was also a plus! Pleaseeee bring Potbelly's to California!!
(5)

Good giardiniera bread is not as good as I remember in Chicago back in my 20's. Has that subway feel/taste. Boo, still way better than any alternative here.

Sandwich was good. Someone else said it was better than Quiznos, and I found that statement accurate. Service was friendly. Music was a but too loud. I got the Italian sub with spicy peppers: It was hit.

Absolutely delicious! Love the hot sandwiches and a very cool store. Fast too! My favorite is roast beef with bacon on the original bread. The Oreo shakes are amazing as well!

Don't order a grilled cheese sandwich. Was craving this on a cold, rainy day but was sadly disappointed in what I got - could not taste any cheese at all and only a very measly thin tomato.....not worth the money and definitely not satisfying - mayo on toast is not something that satifies the taste buds!!

I expected more, but it's really just a subway or quiznos type place. Not many options, no avocado!?, and not a great quality food. Honestly, togo's is way better, and even better than that, the sandwiches you can have made at new seasons.

Great little sandwich shop that can be easily missed due to it's somewhat hidden location. Having eaten at many Potbelly locations throughout the Midwest I was excited to see Potbelly had made it's way out west. Sandwiches are filling and the location is clean and well kept. Staff is pleasant and caters to your needs as a customer. Great option for anyone looking for something different than your normal Subway type sandwich. If you save room for dessert try the coffee shake! Sandwich wise I would recommend the Chicken and Cheddar.

I was expecting better. The Italian did not have enough meat, bread was plain and the only taste I got was the peppers. They were good. I mean I just wanted it to be great. Disappointment! Meh Meh Meh

it really is a glorified quiznos.... but in a good way. I would much rather come here than quiznos. sandwiches are a little on the smaller side but prices are decent so can't complain. most sandwiches are around $5. service is good. fast and always with a smile. they even had live music the last time i was there. only big drawback is that the parking sucks.... it seems quite crowded.

Me and the Mrs checked this place out since it's close to home and the reviews were positive. Ordered the wreck and a cup of cheddar broccoli soup. She went with the lite chicken sandwich and a cup of lentil, kale, sausage soup. She loved the soup and said next time she would go with the regular turkey sandwich because it's very light on meat. But good. The wreck was very tasty. I tried to order a large but he said Oregon doesn't have them available yet. Isn't it just a bigger piece of bread? Small is too small and i was still hungry. And I'm warning you about the hot peppers. I like a kick. This is pretty beyond. I took them off my other half because my lips were on fire. Sucks because the sandwich was pretty tasty. My soup was very good and I'd order again. Pretty chaotic behind the counter as appears their still trying to learn the ropes. It's know Jimmy John service. Overall pretty good and if I'm around I'd hit it up again. But no peppers!

Service is great so far. Sandwich is delicious. Chili is pretty tasty as well. Only complaint is the regular sandwich size is a bit on the small size. I think they have a larger option but I did not notice it on the menu. I will certainly be trying again once the hype of being the "new place in town" has died down to see how this place operates under less pressure.

Read reviews on Yelp and we thought we would give it a try. Sandwiches are good and toasted. I had the "A Wreak" on multigrain wheat. Pretty tasty. Not a huge sandwich but not bad for the price. Good customer service and helpful for 'first-timers" visiting the restaurant. Make sure you get oil on your sandwich, otherwise it could be a little bit dry unless you opt for the mayo/mustard route. However, these sandwiches are way better than Quiznos. (Haven't been to a Quiznos in years since they seem to have gone down hill in their toppings on sandwiches. What you get at the checkout is not what you see in their pictures on the wall.) Only slight negative of Potbelly in Lake Oswego is the size of the indoor seating area. It would be fine but with local musicians in attendance during the lunch hour, it makes it hard to have a conversation with those you are having lunch with. You end up realizing that everyone's voices are now louder including those working the sandwich line. Makes for a slight annoyance but there is outdoor seating during good weather. The musician was good but such a small area made it kind of an inconvenience. I'd definitely go back again.

Words can't fully describe my excitement when I saw that Potbelly was opening just across the freeway from my office. I love this place! The staff are so friendly, and it's clear from their attitudes that they love working there. They have additional ingredients available that aren't listed on the menu, including cucumbers, red onions, and even hummus (they may charge extra for that). The new Clubby is amazing, and the bacon they use is so good that you should add it to any sandwich!

What a surprise! Came here with a Quiznos stop in mind (which used to be at this location) and was surprised to see a brand new sandwich shop that I had never heard of. Gave it a try and am glad I did! Friendly service, nice decor, plenty of seating for dine in. Bathroom was clean and private. Very clear ordering system with many choices. Brought my toasted turkey home and enjoyed it immensely. The bread is great- tasty and just thick enough. Great pickles and everything was really fresh. Side note for fellow preggers- they toast their sandwiches which is great when u are sick of ordering chicken salad or grilled cheese. Bravo! Going on my list as a go to sandwich joint in a convenient location. Side note 2- if you are traveling thru the area, this place is literally RIGHT OFF the freeway. And there is a Starbucks next door if u need a mediocre coffee fix. For coffee enthusiasts, go about 2 more miles into Lake O to Blue Moon and you'll get some high quality brew.

Stuck on sandwiches? Step right up! So my first visit to a Potbelly. I have to say I wasn't blown away, but I was certainly impressed. Great old fashioned sandwiches on hearty bread at a reasonable price. It's nice to see a great sandwich option that isn't low quality fast food, and isn't some snooty high end place where you drop $15 and leave feeling hungry. We need good in between options like this around town. I opted for the Mediterranean which was a great choice. Some spiced hummus, artichokes, red peppers, feta.........great stuff for a veggie like me and filling. Sandwiches come toasted which is a nice touch, but the bread does get very crumbly on the outside. I really appreciated the extras they throw on for free like tomatoes, onions, lettuce, hot peppers, all the normal fillings. Most places would tack on extra charges. I think overall this is a great little lunch stop. They keep it clean, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only negatives for me is that the chip selection is low, and for most people, variety here I think would be better. The iced tea which I usually go for was really weak, almost like water, but nevertheless I enjoyed everything and would certainly come back. You can tell they really care about making things well here, and I really appreciate that as a customer.
